Payment is considered due at the time of your visit to Glacier Dermatology. For insured patients, this means co-payments, co-insurance, deductible amounts, and payment for services not covered will be collected at the time of your visit. If you provide updated insurance information when you schedule your appointment, our billing software will connect with your insurance company to determine the portion of the bill for which you are responsible. The remainder will then be submitted via third party billing to your insurance.
If you choose to pay cash for your visit, a portion of the bill is expected to be paid on the day of service. A cash discount is available if you pay in full at the time of service.
Once you are billed, you will receive monthly notices of your balances due. If our third party biller is unable to collect funds in a timely fashion, a collections agency may be notified.
We understand that medical expenses can be unexpected and patients sometimes experience financial hardship. Please contact us to discuss payment plan options if needed. We do not want financial concerns to prevent you from receiving the care you need.
